11164 Free Courses In Polenta Making

I have been asked to pass this on to all lovers of things Abruzzese. There's a free course being put on in Pettorano near Sulmona) to preserve polenta making traditions:

It is an excellent idea as to prepare polenta is quite an art. Anyway, I would advice those attending to wear long sleeves and to have with them a wooden spoon with A VERY LONG HANDLE. Polenta can burn you very easily when it starts to boil and it is a nasty burn.

I asked a relative living in the Abruzzo what she was given for her birthday this December? A Polenta saucepan that works by electricty and that does all the stirring .....so much easier and apparently all the rage!

I must admit I'm quite a dab hand at making polenta.
I just snip of the corner of the sachet, add boiling water and Bob's your uncle. :bigergrin:
