11224 Custard for Xmas Pud

Does anybody know if you can get English custard anywhere near the Naples area?
I have a Xmas Pud sent by my Mum,but no custard or Brandy sauce.

Brandy butter is better than Brandy sauce -

Even better is Whisky Butter [I add whisky until you can't taste the sugar] - also, a bit of granulated sugar gives it a bit of 'crunch'

Hey Alan, not just any old brandy sauce but Nigella's!!!

Still I cannot find her recipe for brandy butter but I have read she adds ground almonds.
