11453 places to stay modica area

We are planning to stay in this area for 3 or 4 nights while travelling between Agrigento and Siracusa in May - anyone got any recommendations? Happy with self catering , agritourismo b and b or hotel but quality and some good food and wine are high on our wish list for the trip. If any of the vineyards in the general area did accommodation we would be very interested in that.

Could give you a bit of info on Siracusa, but there is a member called Ram - and Cristiana and Ronald (Admin) who live in Sicily who will be able to help you more. I'm sure one or more of them will be along to help once they see your post.

There are loads of places to stay round Modica and the province of Ragusa. If you are looking for good food and accommodation I can recommend Agriturismo Nacalino, though the best for me is Torre Marabino near Ispica, which also has a huge organic food and wine operation. Actual places to stay with vineyard attached dont come to mind at the moment. Hi Noble
does this mean if a forum member wants info on telephone companies we cannot mention telecom ****** or Tele*, or where can you buy baked beans, we cant say City *** or Lid**....but have to pm the answers, with a limit of only 50 messages, the mail boxes will get pretty full, pretty quick...........may as well have a chat room :eerr:

Sicily is a lovely place by the way, I enjoyed some excellent food and wine there...very under rated.
