Is Ronald fiddling with things again?

Yes, several times in the last couple of hours! When I did eventually log on, it dropped out after a few minutes............................ I thought it was just me - it usually is where computers are concerned!

Is anyone else having the same problem?
Yes, I had this difficulty for several hours today Nielo.

Angie, Carole B, Marc and myself too I googled the message and it's possible Ronald has to alter a setting in his Admin Control Panel.

It looks as if it has been a fairly big spanner in the works.

I finally managed to get in but of course there wasn’t much to read… mot even a message from the Admin team!:wideeyed:

I was getting the same message as you........so I assume that this only thing that the rest of the Admin team were doing was fixing things & one or two of the niceties might have been overlooked(!)

Yep, on Sun I experienced the same problem!

Ditto to the problem here too. And as there is no news from "Control Centre" I am thinking the worst.

Therefore may I suggest we do a litlle contingency planning of our own, just in case the forum disappears one day permanently for any reason. :wideeyed: I suggest we agree in advance, a time and a location, in the interwebby world where (those who survive) will meet up again! A bit like they would in the movies - "if anything should happen to me darling , go to the leaning tower of Pisa at 5pm every Friday for 4 Fridays!"

Anyone have any suggetions which forum we should meet up at? gather the suggestions, hold a poll to pick the winner and bingo, we have a contingency plan........quick must log off, I can here someone coming:laughs:

Most of us already have such a contingency plan Ghianda and meet there on a regular basis - just in case. Would you like the link?

Hi JC

Can I come too?:smile::smile:

Yes please juliancoll - assuming it's not a Slovenian mud wrestling forum:laughs:

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeesee, don't leave me on The Titanic on my own. I can't blow up my water wings.

Now should 'I' risk asking for it too?

:nah: - Maybe not... Knowing my luck it would be:

If it's a link to the website I'm thinking of, I hear there are difficulties there too currently and for the last few days. "Sorry, this site is temporarily closed" The page heading is "Locked Website" Sounds promising!!! lol PM me for a proper alternative Forum where there are "Threads: 3,298, Posts: 16,291, Members: 5,487, Active Members: 623"

Does the Captain know that the passengers are preparing the life boats?

Or is he busy bailing the bilges with a bucket?

Women and children first!

I had the same thing most of the week-end, I thought it was just someone multi posting, taking up all the bandwidth..........LOL

Principle accepted - but how do we vet who is a woman or a child?:laughs::laughs:

Ah ha! I see the private (sorry, I meant first class) lifeboats are being taken up fast.

Gurgle...:Dancing_shocked:

Will somebody tell that bloody string quartet to shut up - I can't hear myself think.:laughs:

I have my luxury yaught (yacht) is moored nearby – just in case.

There is also a pirate ship appearing over the horizon.

The pirate ship looks fun! :jimlad:

Its called the SS Italia Uncovered ; go have a look

Trouble is, if it's a 'proper' forum I'm not sure it's going to be much fun????:winki:

Sally - apparently that message should only appear to undesireables. Something to do with IP addresses, so I'm told. Don't worry though - I'll make sure you're able to view from now on, but you know what they say about people who listen at keyholes, don't you?

Anyway, I'm not going to give out the link here - I'm not about to pee Ronni off after he has had the good grace (and sense) to allow me the courtesy of his hospitality, but I just might give the Spaceship a dusting down and bring it back into service.

Anyone fancy a ride?

Jeepers, I thought O'Level Physics was difficult. :laughs: Yes, beam me up Scotty. !

Charles you mentioned the Spaceship before and I let it pass by - silly me.

Oh this isn’t fair!!

Bad enough that members are manning the life boats but to bring in the spaceship, while Ronnie us busy im the bilges……to my mind there must be a law against it….and a hefty fine!
