Sometimes it is difficult to know. And another problem is that there could be minors involved as it recently happened in Spain. And in those cases they literally "get away with murder". How can a child, or practically a child, do such a terrible thing? What type of education do they receive... if any.... Can you become a cold blooded murderer when you are under 16 years of age?

You just can't tell but I have read of the sickening 'game' of youths setting fire to homeless people and filming it on their mobile phones to send to friends.
How did it ever get this far? So much for lack of discipline and letting children 'discover' themselves.

This sickening game is at the origin of many brutal incidents that are happening. Parents give those mobile phones to children generally for security reasons, to be able to be in contact with them; however, kids seem to be using them for totally different purposes. And it is happening in very many countries, so we cannot tell whether this is a racist attack or simply an easy target. Or both... as these little groups of adolescents seem to share a neo-nazi ideology.

A truly dreadful story, Although my Italian is not up to reading the whole thing I got the gist. It seems society is becoming increasingly more violent, especially amongst the "unhinged", cos surely you have to be to cooly perpetrate acts of such horror & cruelty. Trouble is society is becoming more unhinged.

A few decent role models wouldn't go amiss.

The guilty have said it wasnt a racist attack but only that they were in search of strong emotions. Lets hope that 10 years in a tough jail will provide all the strong emotions they were looking for.
Now, this is really horrific and a clear case of racism or similar discrimination. There has been other cases throughout Europe involving sometimes homeless people as well. I do hope that the perpetrators are going to be detained, brought to justice and properly condemned and punished.
