FANTASTIC! Thinking about this, there probably is a market for this if it's in a good location.
Just one question - is the old boat inside or outside, because I wouldn't want anyone to see my 'bits'? :reallyembarrassed:

You seem to be offering what the people from Leeds who moved to Lunigiana, Sarah and Richard, where originally offering at Casa del Sole. They say that they are no longer doing rentals but perhaps you can contact them for advice. They are Forum members see casa del sole and perhaps there's a new website with a new name, which I think is the Great Italian Escape.

Oh I remember your house now - we all thought it was a wonderful place when you first posted it here - a quick flick round with a duster and your set to go. I'd certainly like to stay there, but the climb to it would kill me off - can you arrange a limo to pick me up?

I know, the climb is a killer, we have a huge amount of land and the only part of it that is flat is the step outside the front door.
To help me get stuff up and down I have built a winch, have a look at the videos on the site and you will see what I mean.
Cheers

jivah, it interests me that life continues much the same 40 years on and that the young, (I assume that you are?), are doing much the same as my generation did in the late 60's and 70's but in those days in was North Wales rather than Northern Italy. Loved the photos but my bones wouldn't cope with the life style. Do you plan to have an Orto?

I refuse to be dragged up your mountain by a winch! It's a Limo - with air conditioning - or the deal is off!

We will try, a lot of the land is terraced and we have several springs coming out of the rocks so it should be doable.

ooooooooooo go on then, just for you:smile:
Hi - hopefully someone will chip in with knowledge on rules and regs, my understanding is that the house must be registered as residential and have all the right certificates for e.g. gas, electricity (not relevant) but importantly provided you describe the property and its facilities accurately in your marketing of it then how can I complain if I have chosen to stay there:no:
Good luck
