My goodness, Umbertide, nearly bought a house there many years ago, it's a nice neighbourhood. You know, to while away a wet Monday afternoon (and put off doing the ironing....) I toyed with starting an Excel spreadsheet monitoring our utility bill payments. Strangely though, I quickly decided against it. Old friends back in England tell me, "you'd be so-o shocked if you knew how much gas & electricity costs now in the UK". Mmmm, maybe but can it be worse than here?

yes well that's the way it goes here.... talk over dinner all about heating bills while back in blighty they talk about house prices
