11820 Sod's Law

THE FIRST COROLLARY TO SOD'S LAW. Anything that is to go wrong will do so at the worst possible moment.

That is why it always rains the heaviest at the point on the dog walk when you are furthest from home (in Italy*) *added to keep it 100% relevant :bigergrin:

Cooker bust on 24th December, 16.00 hours.

When I phoned up the Italian engineer (SMEG, you know:bigergrin:), he understood that this was a DISASTER, but didn't come out to fix it until after Christmas!

Lets forget about it now - that thread and all its sordid details has been ripped from the forum in a puff of smoke - and it took our eyes off the main goal for long enough.

You will never know how grateful I am that the thread was deleted - believe me - it was a divine intervention - just in the nick of time. :bigergrin:
