I want to hire a small van in Naples, preferably at the airport, that I can then drop off at Brindisi Airport - this is so that I can pick up a load of basic furniture at Ikea in Naples to start furnishing my holiday villa in Puglia. Has anyone done anything similar? All the car rental firms at the airport only seem to have cars for hire.

We have looked into this - and done it. BUT - had to hire in Puglia, drive over and drive back as the one-way extra charge was phenomenal. And I'd already booked the flights.
We went with Maggiore 'amicoblu' noleggio furgone, but there are a few more that do it - I'm pretty sure Thrifty and Hertz did too but I chucked out all the stuff I printed out. If you google for noleggio furgone napoli I'm sure a few will turn up. And I'm sure you'll be able to pick up at the airport or nearby.

Make sure you check how much mileage they are giving you!!!!!
Ikea Naples also hire vans at an hourly rate - but again the problem is getting it back to the starting point. Theres info on their website.
If you find out any different please will you pass on the info as we are planning to do it again at the beginning of August. It's a bummer that Emmezeta is so disappointing! (Am I allowed to say 'bummer' on here?)
