585 Contents insurance

Thanks to eveyone who replied the last time I posted - your recommendations have been most helpful.

Can anyone recommend an Italian insurer for contents? I can't get my UK insurer to insure our stuff for the year that we will be renting a house in Italy (from August). I am a voice over artist and will be bringing a portable recording studio with me which is worth around 10,000.00 pounds. This, technically, would count as business equipment so I'll need to get a business insurance quote. I am just about to get a Codice Fiscale - will this help? Also I'm bringing my stuff by car and would like to cover the journey. Again I can't find anyone in the UK who'll cover me. Anybody got any thoughts?
