546 Rental market in Puglia

We are hoping to relocate in approx 18 months (once we have a fair understanding of the Italian language) and are considering renting our, soon to be purchased, villa out as a holiday let and let it pay for itself so to speak, until that time when we can be there permanant.

Has anybody any advice having done this themselves and a feel for the market in the Ostuni / San Vito dei Normanni area? How has anybody got on with rental companies etc..or has that been a nightmare and not worth the hastle.

Thanks

Ostuni is a very sought after area, rent can give you quite a lot of money. all depends where about you are.

Are you planning to rent it for the summer only or for longer?

Incidentally we are buying a masseria near there, going this summer for the compromesso.

We are hoping to find a long term rental (six months) for our family of five- from March next year. It needs to be suitable for very young children and near water. I'm finding it difficult to find anything but holiday rental prices. Can anyone help with websites or own places.
