657 Driving a UK car in Italy

Hello,
I am moving out to Italy to take up a teaching job in Sept. I need to take my UK car ( in middle of finace agreement, etc) Can anyone advise as to the following questions:

* Do I need anything specific in the car ( like yellow jacket, etc)
* Is there such a thing as Roadside Assistance, RAC type organisations?
* Does anyone know if there is a Kia garage near Rome?

Thanks in Anticipation

The driver must carry their driving licence, the insurance and registration documents must be in the car.
A fluorescent vest/jacket must also be in the car, as it needs to be worn on leaving the car in case of breakdown it should be kept in the actual car rather than the boot. An emergency triangle is also compulsory.
Think that's it.
ACI exists, it is similar to AA/RAC, they have offices everywhere but I am sure a search would throw up their website.
KIA cars are very common in Italy so there are bound to be several garages in the Rome area. Try a search on www.paginegialle.it , enter 'Automomobili Commercio' and 'Roma' - all car dealer ships will come up but you should be able for find one for KIA
