642 Newbies Le Marche bound.

Hello to you all. I’m David and long with my wife Karen and our young son James and baby daughter Grace we shall be moving to Le Marche in late September/early October.

I am a teacher and shall be looking to teach English as a foreign language whilst Karen is a hairdresser, beauty therapist, aromatherapist and masseuse.

We are filled with the usual feelings of fear, trepidation, excitement and hope.

For us there really is “no going back”.

Good luck with you more, We've just done it. Don't let the stress of it worry you and just focus on the end thing, it is worth it.

The Marche is a beautiful region and the people are mostly very honest, kind and polite.
We are usually there in Sept or Oct (we have a holiday house in Corinaldo, near Senigallia) and will send you a pm nearer the time and perhaps we can get in touch and meet and hear how it's all going.

good luck we are also Le Marche bound. Will keep in touch being near Amandola in a rented - hopefully - whilst our house is being 'done' we are old enough to be your granny and grandpa and are still being mad. Janet

Just wanted to add our voice to those before and wish you well for your new venture.
As I have been told recently its all very well having the dream but making the break from our old life can still be very difficult and in some cases painful.
Our builders are on site in Falerone and starting work on our dream which should be finished next spring.
We have a week in Marche from next Friday, spending three days on the coast at Grottamare before moving in land to San Ginesio.
We are hoping to make the move full time in around three years (yikes! seems like forever)
I am sure it will be fantastic for you and dont forget you are not just doing it for yourself.....you are doing it for all of us!
Kind regards
David & Alex
