757 Self Employment

I am relocating to Italy and want to continue working as a self employed person.Ihave read that i need to apply forPermesso per lavoro autonomo, and need a Partita IVA, which is an Italian sales tax id, and to be registered with Esercenti Commercio, can anyone tell me if this is correct and when and where do i obtain these Many thanks Brendon.

The best thing to do is to get a recommendation for a good commercialista here in Italy and let them take care of it all for you. They will ensure you have the correct paperwork and also deal with tax returns etc for around €500 a year.
