922 feeling good in italy

another of those pol things and hardly worth mentioning really mainly because i dont live in the number one place

however anyone that lives in the ascoli piceno area should be feeling very good it comes out top for qauality of life in italy... which includes weather,crime, feelings of happiness... employment in fact they are a very self satisfied happy lot there

pesaro ...which i believe is also outside abruzzo comes next.... note this is not repeat not pescara which comes somewhere low down the list...

and i guess the reason i have let everyone in on this secret which is no secret to those that live in the places ...we all have happy smiles is the Teramo region of abruzzo which comes in fourth..... we just keep the secret of our good life better than the other first three places.... sorry cannot remember the third

note that abruzzo as a whole is not represented in the top ecehelon ... because there are certain areas especially in the areas of pescara and chieti... vasto and lanciano which are developing industrialisation problems.... immigration and housing problems.....unemployment .. but more than anything crime is rising in those areas....

anyway am proud to live at no. four and congratulations to those in number one

Don't believe him, Teramo is a terrible place. The pollution is the worst in Italy, it always rains except when there are sandstorms. The natives are unfriendly and there is a constant, terrible smell. The fish in the rivers have three eyes, and eat small children.

You don't want to go there, no no no, not never. Move along please, nothing to see here, umm there I mean.

the poll was published in i think "il centro" ... ok sorry about the spelling (pol)

why i say i think is because i have thrown it away.... my father in law... often sends these sort of things along.... he reads the newspapers and sifts out abruzzo info....

... its a simple fact that if you live in an area with low crime figures... ie ascoli and teramo..... reasonable employment.... the same areas..... reasonable house prices ....and no very large cities ......life will always be regarded as quite enjoyable....

why.... because they are not massively popular areas.... either with criminals...nothing much to steal..... drug dealing....not a dense centre of population to deal in.... poor immigrants.... not a lot of work

add to that the location....adriatic generally within an hour.... mountains always somewhere as a backdrop..... vast rural tracts of unspoilt countryside..... very little traffic problems..... and yet here in teramo all aprox 90 mins from the centre of rome if you decide you want the theatre or any other type of major city event/facility

it was also mentioned in some of the news programmes about two or three weeks ago

in all honesty its a light bit of rubbish..... because everyone knows that areas as described above will always come out tops.... and maybe yes you might think where you live is eutopia and for you it is... but when they sift data to produce this sort of thing crime and employment are generally two of the most obvious sorting factors
