I skied in Roccaraso twice last winter. It is really nice. There are long slopes and when there is no snow enough they have artificial snow. I skied at Aremogna, on the top of the mountain, approx 7 km from Roccaraso. It is one of the longest Italian slope-net. If you are not that passionate about skiing, you can get a chairlift right on the edge of the village. Should you go to Aremogna, on the way home you can stop at the Restaurant-Pizzeria La Capannina, which was very good.
