I am opening a studio from which to work in le marche.It is in a centro storico where there are many premises with plaques next to the door.Does anyone know who I should approach to obtain permission for such a plaque?
Has anyone any idea what would happen if I did not obtain permission or whether some buildings which are shared may have rules preventing the mounting of plaques?6 million dollar question-how long is permission likely to take?

I would contact the amministratore of your building. He might just grant you the permission, or, if your plaque will be facing the street, you might need to contact the ufficio tecnico del comune. I do not think it will take long.
