976 Serie A predictions 2005/06

The big three have "bigged up" their squads recently.

Milan with Vieri, Jankulovski, Vogel and Gilardino

Juventus with Vieira, Chiellini, Kovac and Miccoli

Inter with Solari, Pizarro, Morfeo, Samuel, Julio Cesar, Dalmat and there's bound to be another 3 or 4 on the way!

It's difficult to see the likes of Roma, Sampdoria. Fiorentina and Palermo making it into the top three.

Who do you think are now best equipped to thake the Serie A title next May?

It's gonna be might close - but something tells me that Inter might just do it this time.

Inter will push all the way but Juve back to back titles looks most likey to me - Though i will be rooting for milan as they are linked with Brescia

I am not sure why but i do fancy Inter to finally win the Scudetto this season although i think it will be a very close contest with AC and Juve. For my team Siena i guess another year of battling agains't the drop is in order but just being in Serie A for 3 seasons is a major achievement in itself. I would love to see them qualify for a EUFA Cup spot and with the coach they have now and the right team spirit it is acheivable.

If nothing else, it's been a busy time in the transfer market, I see in Football Italia.

15 out - 12 in

Best of luck for the new season.

Di Canio now has his own squad of players, last season he had to work with the squad left behind the previous coach hence all the comings and goings. I am dissapointed they could not fix a deal with Maccarone and Middlesborough, he made a big difference towards the end of last season. Wish they would hurry up with those bloody fixtures though  .
