997 Long terms rents - Marche/Abruzzo

Due to a change in circumstances, we are now planning to relocate to Marche/Abruzzo in July/August of next year.

We are looking for a long term rent i.e 6, 8, 12 months or so, so we can carefully choose our preferred areas to buy.

Having searched the www, without success, I am now really struggling. Can anyone advise of any rental firms who operate in these areas, or if anyone has or knows somebody who would be prepared to rent a house to us. We have 3 young 'well behaved' girls  (4, 5 & 8) and therefore need a 3 bed house with a garden or a large 2 bed property.

Can anyone assist? We are not bothered about a pristine property (as long as it has a functional bathroom and some sort of kitchen,..... okay a sink). We are even prepared to do some building work on the property ourselves if necessary.

Any takers??

Yours slightly worried at this stage.

where in Marche? by the sea, hills, mountain... how much (about) do you intend to pay?

Jan, I've sent you a pm about this

Our house will be ready by Christmas and can be divided into two parts if necessary 9ie two kitchens etc)

Anne

Thanks for the responses so far. (Anne I'll be sending a PM shortly).

With regard to location, we are fairly flexible to the precise location at this stage. (we had planned a months holiday next summer, to narrow down preferred areas, but my husband's sudden and unexpected redundancy has brought our plans forward).

We do need to be a little cautious on rental costs at this stage though, so I would assume a coastal property is out of the question. (would be fantastic mind you, kids would love it).

As mentioned before, we are prepared to live in a habitable, partially restored property, if it will help somebody earn an income they may not have expected, but also to get a roof over our heads (a roof would be good).

Regarding costs, we have at this stage little knowledge on what the going rates would be, but would assume it is cheaper than UK rental rates???

Also it doesn't need to be furnished as we plan to bring our own with us.

Thanks all

Jan
