Welcome to the board Mario, I like Pescara very much, you are very lucky to live there. :)

Thank you GeorgeS,
what do you like about Pescara?

I am currently in the process of buying a house near penne, and love the area, the people are the friendliest I've ever met in Italy. The food and the drink are the best, and the scenery breath taking..........

You are very luck to live there

I am slowly learning italian, slowly slowly slowly

Hi Mario
I only registered on this forum a couple of months ago, there are so many people with a vast amount of knowledge to help a future newcomer like me to Italy. No doubt you also have the knowledge to help others and maybe yourself.
Just bought a house south of Tollo in a village called Canosa Sanitta, looking forward to moving later in the year.

Hi Julz,
I know very well Penne and I'm happy that you like the context.
The Abruzzo is a beatiful region..... you have to disposition to little distance between they the sea, the mountain, the lake...
The food is OK, but there are also of optimal wines.
I learning english and I hope that you understand what I have written.

Hi Stribs,
thanks for your message.
I know that many stranger people have problems when buy a property in Italy.
Infact there're some things to do.
If you have some question to do, I can help you.
Do you have patience for my language. I know Canosa Sannita and I think that is a very beautiful village near the sea and the mountain.

Mario

It's a beautiful town, I like the run of the shopping streets down to the beach, and, of course, the people are all very friendly. I am not too keen on the approach to the airport though. Every time I visit, I try to find some other sight from the Tim Parkes books too. :)

Hello GeorgeS,
I agreed with you about Pescara, but I think that there aren't all services for people and there are many village around Pescara that they are not known.
