1038 Medieval Tournment in Apulia.

Have you ever thought to see a medieval tournment in South Italy?
Every year, the second saturday and sunday of August, takes place the medieval tournment of Oria (Brindisi province)- Apulia, a true medieval performance among the four quarters of the town and it is the only one which takes place in the south of Italy.
This year it will takes place on August 13 and 14.
It's easy to get in Oria with an everyday connection between Brindisi Airport and London Stansend (Ryanair flights).

Hi Diego,

What time does it all start please and is it easy to park ????

Hi!
The medieval performance takes place in two days.
On Saturday take place the parade about the streets of Oria: it starts from the town hall square at 18.00 (6.00pm) and cross the most important streets of the old town. I suggest you to see the parade from "Porta Manfredi", Manfredi's city gate, and after that moves in Manfredi Square to wait for the end of the parade with the prize shows. It's the nicest part of the parade.

On Sunday take place the medieval tournment at "Campo Padri Rogazionisti" at 17.00 (5.00pm). There are thickets to buy, different prices. I suggest you to come some days before in Oria to look for tickets because most of times they are already over on Saturday.

Where to park? Hard question!!!
There are some parking area, but most are along the streets.

;) In anycase, if you need any support contact me directly. ;)
Bye.

Thanks diego,
