I suggest to look for your most local team once you move - though that Said I am sure you would be welcomed with open arms at the Rigamonti !!!:D

If you want to plump Serie A - Bologna or Udinese are sides Gaurenteed to give you that Aston Villa feeling

My husband and his family support Fiorentina, not much to celbrate there either!

Please don"t support the team from san benedetto-everyone has a limit to how much misery they can cope with!

My dad supports our local team and he seems to get more out of that that a bigger more successful team. He has made so many friends through it. Maybe this would be a good way for you to meet the locals? To be honest I don't follow football this is just an observation I've made.

He managed Nottingham Forest for a few years from 1999 to 2001 and then in 2004 he was managing the England Under-21s. I'm not sure where he is now.

Rigamonti sounds a great team to follow, although it would help if I knew where it was!!

I believe David Platt was ousted from the England U21 set up, not sure what he is doing now. He was original from Chadderton near Oldham so perhaps he's working at one of the cotton mills, if they're still in operation?

Hate to admit it Ian being a Siena fan but Fiorentina look set for a better season this time round. Not sure they are good enough to challenge for the scudetto quite yet but a place in Europe should not be beyond them, if Udinese can make it to the champions league then why not Fiorentina. Speaking of beautiful stadiums i have to say the setting for the stadium is Siena takes some beating, if the football is boring you can gaze up at that beautiful city skyline :) .
