1037 Montelaterone, Grossetto

Hi all

Have been a 'stalker' of this site for ages now, but finally registered today!! My husband and I recently bought an apartment in Montelaterone, near Arcidosso, Grossetto as a holiday nest after visiting Tuscany and Umbria for many years. Am really interested to hear from anyone around that area for any advice or company, particularly better Italian speakers than myself (very poor - will keep on learning!).

Anyway, just wanted to register my support for the site and the magazine, love it and look forward to hearing from anyone !

thanks

Yes we read it but though you would probably be too far away from us.

We live in Vetralla, between Tarquinia and Viterbo if you locate us on a map.

How far will you be from Tarquinia? People here tend to measure distance in terms of time rather than distance. We are twenty minutes from Tarquinia.

Good Luck with the move

I remember stoping at Tarquinia station coming from Rome -I don't think it's all that far but I won't have a car to start with, this move seems to have all sorts of hidden costs plus the fact I got peanuts for my house in England with the market being so slow. Never mind, I'm sure it will all be worth it in the end.
