1128 Small hotels on Amalfi Coast

While we are over in Puglia for a couple of weeks, we hope to take a few days off from d-i-y in our house to have a drive up to Naples and the Amalfi coast. Can anyone recommend a small hotel on the coast that is not horrendously expensive? This for end of Aug/beginning of Sept. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Hi,
We are also living in Puglia, near San Vito dei Normanni.

if you look further down under the Travel Heading, I think you will find a previous post from someone who has accommodation near naples/pompeii...looked quite reasonable ( about 25 Euros PP a night )..we were thinking of using them ourselves when we start 'tripping' !! Hope this helps :)

you'd probably be better off typing in "hotels in amalfi" in your search slot a load of places of all categories will appear, most are in english too and take it from there i'm sorry i can't remember the name of the nice and reasonably priced hotel where we stayed in amalfi but that's how we found it.

About 4 years ago I spent a marvellous week walking the Amalfi Coast - hotels are very expensive - however, for the second week I stayed at an Hotel overlooking Sorrento.

Fantastic views - friendly place - reasonable prices.

I can wholeheartedly recommend it

I have also stayed at Il Nido above Sorrento 4 years ago. It was an excellent familt run hotel.
