[QUOTE=lockettpots]Hi
I'm off to Pisa for four days in October. Booked my cheap flight and hotel. Can anyone advise on good value restaurants (not tourist menu places).

NOT SURE IF YOU WILL HAVE THE TRANSORT TO GET THERE BUT AT THE BOAT BUILDING PORT OF VIAREGGIO - SOUTH OF THE MILES LONG BATHING BEACH OF THE SAME NAME - YOU WILL FIND A COLLECTION OF FISH RESTAURANTS WHERE YOU EAT LIKE A ROYAL. AT LUNCH TIME IT IS MOSTLY MEN FROM THE BOAT BUILDING YARDS, IN THE EVENING IT IS MORE MIXED. PRICES HAVE GONE UP RECENTLY BUT PROBABLY IT IS STILL THE MOST REASONABLY PRICED SEAFOOD WITHIN 50 MILES OF PISA.
INSIDE THE BOAT YARDS YOU CAN SEE JAW DROPPING SPECTACLES OF PARTLY CONSTRUCTED BOATS FOR THE SUPER SUPER RICH.
