1225 Panic over Proposta di Acquisto

Having spent a year looking for our dream in Le Marche we actually found it. :)
Then we put an offer in.
Then it was accepted. :D
Then the estate agent sent us a Proposta di Acquisto.

I thought things were meant to move slowly...

As the property is a farmhouse requiring restoration we were going to have a proper structural survey done (just to check it wasn't going to fall down).

Having read the forum for quite some time I realise that the Italian way is different, but it would seem foolhardy to pay deposits without ascertaining the property is sound.

Having read the very helpful FAQ posts by notaio we agree it would be a good idea to get some legal advice on this, at least to proof read the Proposta.

Can anyone recommend someone suitable in the Petritoli area?

We, and several other members of this Forum, have used Giambrone & Law who are Italian solicitors with an office in London. We have been very pleased with their level of service and they are very competitive on fees. Their website is www.giambronelaw.co.uk

Agree with Brendancfg.

Alternatively, if you would like the name of a local solicitor who has looked after some of my own clients, send me a pm and I will provide you with contact details.
