1249 Commune

We're off to the Commune tomorrow to sort out the ICI, Refuse and anything else that needs paying. :eek:

Any tips , hints as to what we need to take ...can we do it all at one desk or are there different depts.?

Haven't been past the residency bit yet so don't know what to expect ! :o

Will be get a bill even though nobody comes to collect our rubbish.........

I'm afraid so !!!!..you are charged for them emptying the big bins where we take our rubbish.( we don't get rubbish collected from house- don't think many do unless in town or village)

You have to go to Commune to register for ICI (like community tax) and 'refuse' tax.

There is also something called housewife tax, but think it only applies if you live here. ( can't get my head round that one !!! )
