We are about 3km from Cassalini (going towards Ostuni) at Contrada Mincuccio (no sign though - it's just a 1km long dirt track) which is just before contrada badessa. We will be arriving on or about 24th Sept after driving down through France and Italy. Let us know when you will be around and we can arrange something.

I have subscribed to a sister forum for France for many years. Now that the children are almost grown we would like to sell our second home Charente property and move to Italy, preferably Puglia and hope to buy a trullo. Any advice how to go about finding one gratefully received. I do all my own renovation work but our French house is enormous and I would like something smaller and not too much land as I already live on a farm and have had enough. I appreciate that we will have to go there and look on the ground but would like to prepare as much as poss in advance. Any survival hints also appreciated.

See the post I put in Trullo hunting same would apply to a villa apart from they wouldn't be a protected property
Good luck and have fun
Have a safe journey over !!!! We are about2-3 kms from San Vito dei Normanni so just down the road from you !!! There are quite a few people from the forum coming over in october , so if everyone is up for it ...we may have a bit of a party at our place ...let us know if you are interested......
