Hi, My wife and I bought a property in a village called Farindola in the national park in Abruzzo last year. The place was in good condition and we have just about got the place to where we want it.

We have not done much exploring yet but hopefully will start next year.

Nice to see a site dedicated to people who like things Italian.

Eileen and Richard,

Congratulations on the purchase of your new home. Hope you have many years of fun and relaxation in it.
We don't know where Vestea is, is it a small village close to Farindola?
We are out there the week before that, will be coming home on the 7th August.

Hi again

Yes Vestea is a village not too far away from Farindola, hope you have a good visit in August, we are certainly excited about ours.

regards

Eileen and Richard.

Hello, everyone,

I and my wife are thinking of moving to Italy. We have seen many places and at the moment are discovering Abruzzo. It is a great authentic area with reasonably priced real estate, and it is not far away from Rome. Obviously, we are in love with italian way of life and culture.

We would appreciate any information on the village of Farindola. Is that a place for a month's long vacation or people can live there all year around. Is that a sleepy town or a thriving place? What do people do there? If you want to go out, you go into town or you have to drive to Pescara?

Thanks in advance.

Leon and Lika
