I am particularly interest in knowing the cost of living in a Hotel.

Google the area of Italy you are interested in, then look at the hotel sites and check out the prices.

The cost of living in a hotel is less than tuppence ha'penny a month. Discounts are available if you know the right people.

What area are you hoping to visit and what do you intend to do for the week. Skiing is going to cost more then beach walking . More information would be of help.

i think the best thing would be go on to the expedia or venere web sites, click on italy digit your dates, put in the area you're interested in and see the choice because as in most countries you could pay between euro 50 up to 500 per night with breakfast, after that add an average of euro 30 per night for your evening meals if you're in a city, add some transport costs, shopping, clubs, drinks, and you'll come out with a ball park figure for the week.

Jawad, if it is not too personal a question, why are you visiting Italy?

Is it for a holiday? Are you looking to relocate here? Are you job hunting? Visiting friends? Doing research?

Often the reason for visiting a country makes a lot of difference to the expenses incurred.

There are some superb informative and responsive members of this Forum, but every now and then I think 'is this real'................I am thinking this now, LOTS and LOTS of info available on the cost of a week in Italy all dependent on LOTS of things, location, time of year, level of luxury required etc etc etc..........

I'm still thinking !!!:nah:

Are you still thinking

As your company are sending you to learn about Italy then it is not a holiday!
As they are paying would have thought they would already have booked you in and they will be paying (or have already paid) and would not really bother you what the cost is.
Surprised that someone with your level of academic achievement has come on to a forum to find out prices rather than look up yourself as suggested by members.
Bit of a red herring - me thinks!! :wideeyed:

Jawad, I suspect you are not a native English speaker and are just trying to be friendly, but the use of the word ‘dear’ to address someone you don’t know (apart from in formal letter writing) can come across as a little condescending. I would advise you to address people by their names to avoid being misunderstood.
