It may be some time before we get electricity, let alone a phone line, to our Trulli. The electric only has to come about 100 metres - the nearest phone line looks to be about 500 metres away. While we are waiting can anyone vouch for the safety of using an internet cafe to make currency transactions etc. Is it possible for passwords & i.d. numbers etc to be recorded/stored on computers in these places?
Are there any internet cafe's in Ostuni, Brindisi, Fasano areas?
Thanks in advance for all the info I receive
John.

Personally, I wouldn't use an internet cafe for anything you need to be really secure, but, that's just me, I would rather keep my transactions off line, use an Italian mobile to contact my Banks call centre... But I am so old, I can remember a time when there were no mobiles...... errr, can nearly remember no landlines ????
