The trick with the search option is to use a range of different key words to find what you are looking for. I tried ICI and I.C.I. but found nothing. What is it? I checked on Google and came up with a paint company - would that be what you are looking for?
If you can recall this topic being discussed here before, and can remember who some of the contributors were, you could search using the username, it will bring up all posts by said contributor and you can then just trawl through those. Also, if the post is too old, it might have been removed from the forum (don't know if this happens here but is done on most websites).
