1187 olive again

I have just been reading some of the past threads on the subject of olive oil , and very informative they were too . We are in the process of buying a house in Le Marche which has 80 olive trees. Does anyone have any idea how much oil you could expect to get from them - depends on size and age I guess but an average ?

A rough idea is 5 litres per olive tree, but this of course depends on the type of olive tree and the other factors such as age, climate and the trees are properly cared for.

Thanks Eliana - the place we are in the process of buying has 80 olive trees, so I will be interested to see what we get off them .
