Thanks for letting me know what's happening Alex and Lyn. I don't have any view on this subject at all because I don't understand all the political perspectives regarding the euro. My curiousity is only on what is happening in Italy.
I just re-read the article and it was written on Sept.13th, but it says Wednesday is the strike, which would be the Sept.14th, so I guess it starts tomorrow.
Thanks for all your enjoyable posts!
I was reading about this activity going on all over Italy and was wondering if any of you participated? Did you notice anything today from the impact of the strike? Just wondering....
Typically Italian strike, they don't actually tell you anything untill the day itself, anyway life as normal in downtown Francavilla, mind you, there were more cakes in the bar than usual, but, no crema ones, so I was not happy, and everyone suffering from "Male di Festa", so life gentler than normal anyway... :) Just read the article, it's tomorrow, phew thought I'd crossed a picket line for a minute there, my mate from England arrived earlier today, he's also ex TU officer, so it will be interesting to see whether we both observe the strike, I probably won't tell anybody anyway ;)
