We have signed up for the new Italy Magazine Newsletter and have seen the article about it on the main site for the magazine.

When can we expect to receive the first issue? Assume it will not be long now?

Hi there,

yes I too have signed up for the newsletter, and I received an e-mail on the 9th of this month to confirm this, but have received nothing else yet!!

I echo your thoughts entirely! Cannot wait to read the first edition, all the marvellous links on these forums keep me from doing mundane things like housework. ;) Shame I have to go to work in the afternoons, I could quite happily be here all day :

Francesca - did I notice it was your birthday? I was crusing around the forum page and it tells you all the stuff at the bottom of the page and it said todays birthdays - and your name was there! Happy Birthday ;)

Hi Peggy,
yes indeed it is my birthday today, 51 years young, but feel more like 21 at heart!! :p
I just love everything about this site, it is like one big happy family.

Hope to retire in a few years time, and to make Italy my new home.

I am starting Italian language lessons for beginners on Monday, so wish me luck!!

I'm still looking for someone to teach me beginning Italian without going to a community college - one of the fast growing languages in the community colleges here locally - may have to crash a class next semester.
