1174 Ello from up north

Hi all, new to the site and forum.
We are hopefully moving to Itlay very soon (house is now on the market :eek: Hull, North East England). We are looking to go to the Campania region. We would like Pozzuoli or Arco Felice but know that this area is out of our price range (but we dream that one day...). We have some friends in Licola who are looking and asking around thier area, which seems to be more reasonable. We have seen (only via the internet) property in and around Avalino, which looks nice. If anyone knows the area we would appreciate any local information. :) (web addys would be good!)

Welcome aboard, errrm, when did they move 'Ull to the North East... ;) excuse me, I'm a Geordie... Good luck with your sale, and with your search over here, you are choosing the right way to go about it, having someone who knows the area, and has contacts look for you.

You know and I know as do all northerners that Ull is not exactly in the north east. But from experience on chat room and forums most ‘southerners’ and ‘Americans’ think of Leeds, Bradford or Manchester when I say we’re from the North and if I say NO! ‘the east of the country’ they think of Kings Lynn or Norwich. Sorry if offends any true Goerdies, but being on the end of a dog-leg is not easy :( Talking of dogs, where would I post any animal related posts on the forum?

General would probably be best, errm, unless it's recipe's you want, if it's lurcher related, a PM to me normally brings a long reply... :D
