Just registered as part of my researches on hopefully moving to Italy in the Autumn.
I'm an EFL teacher (with a bit of Italian as well) at Further Education colleges and I hope to find private teaching work in Italy. If possible I'd also like to get some work in local schools/instituti superiori but above all want to avoid the language schools which don't pay very well - and often send you to those same schools but give you only a third of what they charge.
Any related advice will be gratefully received.

have a look at www.tefl.com
you can apply online, but as so many people do this, just send your CV to the school's address- more chance of being noticed! i'm going EFLing in italy this autumn too- good luck!
