If you search back through the old threads - you should find out how easy it is to 'do it yourself'
Rubbish tax takes me 10 minutes to pay [queue in Post Office takes about that long] and ICI about 30 minutes [a minor amount of calculation and form filling, then off to the queue in the post office again]

I agree, you don't need a notary, unless you wont to know the rendita catastale of your house, but it should be written in the copy of your notarial purchase contract.
If you have it (rendita) you better go to the comune and ask an employee to calculate ICI and rubbish tax

I'm not sure you really need a Notaio; can't you use a property management agency?
It might be cheaper?
