11116 Jawad.......mods, some support please

It seems that there's been some racist barracking of Jawad; it comes from people who should know better but still seem to think that "we don't want his type round here" and are intent on making snide remarks about curry & "feeding the family of 10 for a week" purely because he's not got a nice, Anglo-Saxon name.

It's distasteful.

where are the racist remarks? I seem to have missed them. I automatically assumed he is a spammer, not because of his name but because he's making what seem to be pointless (i.e. fake) posts to get his link out there - for a site not yet live, he seems to be laying the ground for backlinks.

But if he's genuine, I'm on board and if there are racist comments that is seriously not on...just point me in the right direction

ok, saw the thread in question now. I remain convinced this person is not genuine, he knows the rules of forums but he is simply working the backlinks.

I'm not 100% convinced that he's genuine, but the pasting he got was unwarranted....I even had turtle complain he was posting sh!te and posting it too often........sheesh!

I agree with you gardahomes, I don't like too much jawad's posts and don't trust 100% in his intentions..

in the "famous foods in Italy" thread, someone replied that ITaly's favourite dish is a well-known Indian curry dish (or something to that effect). If Jawad is genuine then this could be construed as racist but given the context (the person making the comment was trying to say, "game's up, we know you couldn't care less about Italian food, you are based in India working as a professional forum poster to generate and accumulate backlinks" (most of these professionals are indeed based in India, just have a look on getafreelancer.com and others like it, they are paid per link they manage to generate) - that's what the curry comment was about. But as I say, if the chap's genuine that's an awful comment! :no:
