I was watching it earlier tonight, an incredible sight, what is the other planet is it Jupiter?
I tried photographing it but the pictures are a bit fuzzy as I didn't have a tripod handy nor a decent lens.
I would imagine tomorrow night will be similar.

It is said that"The rain in Spain stays mainly in the plain", but in my case it is also raining in the mountains and throughout the coastline.... so no moon to be admired, just rain, rain and more rain.... And very low temperatures. Who said something about the planet's warming up?

There was a piece on Radio four when i was driving home from work last night - it's the moon, Jupiter and Venus (& in the UK at least) the moon went in front of venus (or vice versa). Anyway all cloud here so didn't see it either.

Stick your head out the window this evening. Whether Londoners will see it, well it's cloudy at the moment, dammit. The last few nights though have been moonlit
Earth set for full moon close up
The moon will appear high in the night sky A full moon is set to occur closer to the Earth on Friday evening than it has done for the past 15 years.
