1320 Travel to and from Naples

We're planning a five day break in Sorrento next April and wondered if anyone can advise re. one way travel from England/Scotland. We're planning to fly out, spend the break and then take a train connection from Naples to Brindisi/San Vito to spend a week in our cottage. Can anyone advise re train times/costs/length of journey etc and is there a travel firm which will deal with a one way flight or flight to Naples and back from Brindisi?

Thanks
Kathy

Hi,
if you go into www.trenitalia.com you can play till your hearts content with various routes/times etc....check for number of stops and which trains are expresses etc. I think you can even buy the tickets on-line.I think there is also an English option.

Hope this helps

Travelling from Scotland could be difficult - Thompson do a service from Glasgow to Naples at present - but it disappears [at the moment] before April

Best bet - for starting and finishing at the same airport by 'Budget' airline is [unfortunately] Stansted;-

Stansted - Naples Easyjet
Brindisi - Stansted Ryanair

The BEST train timetable is the German Railway's one [methodical to the end] on
