Anyone have any idea on pricing for an external chimney from a pellet stove to reach above the roof line on the 2nd floor of a house. I am posting on behalf of a friend who is not well enough to do her own research, so forgive me for being vague.
I have a very good friend who is being harassed by a previous partner by phone.I remember in the UK that British Telecom had steps they could take to prevent nuisance calls of this nature.
Following on from another thead, what will happen to the ever increasingly aged farming communities, now that their children no longer want to work on the land?
So now being in possession of our permanent residency, apart from health care issues (and the rather nice baseball hat from the Sindico) what other advantages can we expect ?.
An Aesops fables moment (OK I know that was grapes....) I went down to check on our large cherry tree, bent over with the weight of cherries this year and surprised two large adult foxes doing the same thing.

My Italian friend says people vote for him because they like the "jack the lad" image, hardly applies to Gordon. But did anyone see the clips on the South Korea and Checz fights today?. South Korea was a free for all and the Checz minister of health smacked another guy soundly around the head, so funny..... what a bunch of schoolboys in their playground!?A
Too hot to sit on the terrace today here (close to Montegiorgio Marche,) even in the shade, so its inside surrounded by fans (no jokes Andrew!) just about to venture out now there is a breeze, and oddly am thinking about curry for supper.A
Am biased because we live here, but it has the sea the mountains, the high rolling hills, is well served by airports, road networks, good hospitals, friendly law abiding citizens, and is unspoilt still. Has not been ruined by mass tourism....I could go on. Come and look for yourself Gerbillo?. have friends that come via Germany, Michael, hopefully they will post their route.A
Goodness, I do grow my own basil , but it is interesting what you say about wild coriander and I am always willing to learn , we have smelt it whilst driving around the countryside during the past few weeks, perhaps you might be kind enough to supply a photo so that we may all benefit from your experience?
Dont know where you are situated Gromit, but for those of us that live in Marche close to Corridonia there is an excellent Asian shop that sells the full range of spices, pickles and everything else you need to create your curry. They also sell Tetley tea bags!. None of these at inflated prices, and they also will throw in gratis a carton of mango juice or a bunch of coriander and help you carry the basmati rice down to the car. Thats good service.A
Sarah will you make me a pork pie please!!! ?(and may I have that with trifle?).A
Just a big thanks from me to Sarah and Mark for all their hard work and for allowing us to use their home as a venue for the BBQ yet again!Angiex
I do so agree with you Liz, for me they are very irritating, and in some way childish, especially the ones that jump up and down. Its abit like the people that instead of dotting the i draw a big circle above it....Ok so now I sound grumpy!A

Welcome to the community Angela, any ideas about where in Italy you might relocate to?A
