I am as confused as the rest of you, and have spent the last 20mins re reading posts, and trying to understand whats going on, had asked Sal to hold on re her announcements on this community, but was ticked off for that!. Moxie & Sarah, will talk later when I have thought about it. Dont think it is viable to hold 2 raffles at once at the BBQ and it propbably isnt what we envisaged anyway, perhaps it would be better for Sal to conduct her own raffle as I think it detracts from what we are doing, and is silly to have 2 going at once on this community, tho I fear that may become the case, what a nuisance.Ax
As an aside but excuse me, I would never never say toilet, loo or lavatory perhaps but toilet never. mis quoted yet again!A

Thanks Gala as ever I agree with you, this is much more refreshing, and I am working my way around it. have already met in real life some great people through the community, who are a huge asset to the fund raising we have been doing, full of information and excellent advice and positive ideas. And as in the old forum retain the idea of support for members.A

By ferry, to see Venice from the lagoon for the first time is magic, try google for ferry numbers or I am sure someone can provide links, enjoy your honeymoon, try to wander away from the tourist hotspots, everywhere is walkable, and its fun to get lost in all the twisting alleyways. We spent a week there a few years ago, go and see the lions at the Arsenale, buy a street map and explore.A
