On October 10, 1813, a boy was born to a modest family in the tiny Italian town of Le Roncole. This boy's name was Giuseppe Verdi and he would become the greatest Italian opera composer of all time. His works, such as La Traviata and Aida, can be heard in some of the most famous opera houses around the world.
