Can anyone help? I am also having problems with Enel.

Can anyone help? I am also having problems with Enel. They seem unfit for purpose sending overpriced bills not being able to contact them. Continually being told they will contact me. Does anyone know of a regulatory body that regulates them or as a customer you can make a complaint that will be taken seriously?

I am fed up trying to demand they visit my house to look at this meter that is not recording correctly. I was told to contact E - distribuzione who supplied the meter I'm being given the runaround. No one is taking responsibility.

Why is it this way in Italy with services? In UK I would be able to sort this out. I'm not here full time so would expeect a better level of service.

Any help would be appreciated.

Regards,

Yas

ENEL .. is a gang of thieves! Change supplier!!

E-distribuzioni is a section of Enel, it is very difficult to contact them, almost impossible to have one of their technicians at home, and inevitably, they will say that the system is ok and if it doesn't work it's your fault - the result will be a request for payment for a service that they didn't do.

try  E-on ,they also have a nice page in english...>  https://www.eon.com/en/c/new-energy.html

Thank you for your reply I will deginitely be changing suppliers. I was looking at EON. I agree they are a bunch of thieves and no one to regulate these them it's unbelievable that they can get away with such bad service.

I shan't waste anymore time with them and shall apply for payment for lack of service promised.

Kind regards,

Yasmin

ENEL,ENI, etc are the suppliers of the electricity.  The electricity arrives at your house using the network of e-distribution.  For problems with a meter you contact e-distribution.  It has nothing to do with ENEL or any other provider.

Do you work for them?

I have tried many times to contact both companies and understand how it works. They are both unfit companies and a bunch of thieves they should not be able to trade or should be regulated. They both do not respond to requests and only wish to offer bad servicss while they take your money.

Ugo, - the owner may be ENEL, but its a separate company resulting from the 'unbundling' - of the system, as it says clearly on the website you kindly linked to.  The infrastructure is edistribuzione the electricity is from ENEL Energia.  So, if you have a problem with your meter you need to contact edistribuzione, non?
