The Aqueduct of the Duke

This foot bridge which spans the length of Piazza Umberto, played a vital role in ushering not only the duke but people who lived on the outskirts of the historic center from the waring factions that we know as the Papal States. Today, the bridge serves a quick way into the Historic center from the other side of the piazza.
