Wondering the back streets of Venice is filled with the rhythm of daily life.
In the tiny village of Scilla in Calabria, fishermen still bring pull their boats up to the shore and under their houses. This village has been fishing the Mediterranean for many centuries and the town still echoes the voyages of Ulysses and his men.
I took this picture on October 13, 2017, standing on the Ponte Santa Trinita over the Fiume Arno at 5:59PM. The Ponte Santa Trinita is just west of the Ponte Vecchio. The woman in the picture is my wife Angene Laricchia Reisbeck.
