We have many friends and contacts in the region and you will meet several of them – and hopefully become friends too!

You will enjoy the local cuisine, an entire course on Italian wine, wine tours & tastings, day trips to local Tuscan towns with a friend & licensed expert guide, relaxing time on a farm (agriturismo/winery) with a pool, Tuscan cooking class, course on Tuscan wine, wine tours with several tastings and local experiences, and more. You will also have as much time as you like to relax, in the vineyards, on your patio, or poolside.

Both Amy and Maria will be here in Florence and Tuscany with you all day every day at your complete disposal 100% of the time. We can provide reservation help, language help, or anything else. We support local small businesses and sustainable tourism.

SAMPLE ITINERARY: (everything listed would be included in your trip cost)

Day 1 Monday Florence airport pick up, and Welcome Mixer with Apericena (combination of aperitivo drinks + light fare) at your 5-star hotel in the evening. (apericena)

Day 2 Tuesday Explore Florence’s historic center with a guided walking/food/sights tour. Optional “Italian Language for Beginners & Travelers” fun course available in the afternoon. Welcome Dinner at a traditional Florentine Trattoria. (breakfast, mid-day food tour, dinner)

Day 3 Wednesday Expert guided tour of the Ufizzi Gallery. Savor lunch at a traditional Florentine Trattoria thereafter. Private class “All about Tuscan wine” in the late-afternoon. Aperitivo at a charming Florentine rooftop bar overlooking the city and the beloved Piazza Santo Spirito. (breakfast, lunch, aperitivo)

Day 4 Thursday Morning passeggiata (leisurely walk) to San Niccolo. Full day wine tour visiting two wineries in the Chianti Hills with traditional hearty Tuscan lunch in between. Apericena (a combination of aperitivo + dinner) at a farm + winery (breakfast, lunch, apericena).

Day 5 Friday Explore the agriturismo/farm/winery, meet the family. Guided tour of winery by one of the owners/family members including wine tasting + light lunch. Pool time. Half day trip to Siena with local expert guide. Dinner in Siena. (breakfast, lunch, dinner)

Day 6 Saturday Full day trip to Montepulciano including a tour with a local expert guide, time to explore on your own. Aperitivo “al fresco” together at picturesque location. Tuscan dinner together in the town center at a charming and traditional trattoria. (breakfast, aperitivo, dinner)

Day 7 Sunday Cooking class with local Tuscan chef and then enjoy the fruits of your labor together for a delicious traditional Tuscan lunch. Leisure time with an option to explore with us the local town of Castellina. Beautiful Farewell vineyard dinner exclusively for our group (breakfast, lunch, dinner)

Day 8 Monday Goodbye and transfer to Florence airport (breakfast)
