Take your Italian to another level while you discover Southern Italy in a whole new way!

Our program offers the perfect blend of intensive language studies and unique cultural experiences that will not only enhance your linguistic skills but also provide you with memories to last a lifetime.
Our teachers will prepare you to appreciate the rich cultural history and enjoy culinary adventures while chatting with the locals.
Mornings will be dedicated to studying Italian interactively and engagingly, tailored to your level of proficiency and based on the discoveries that await you on the day. In the afternoons, you’ll embark on exciting adventures that will immerse you in the local culture and help you practice your newfound language skills.
The CIS Immersive Italian Experience is designed to be both educational and fun. We will provide a full range of educational activities, such as guided tours of historical sites, visits to traditional restaurants, language classes and much more. You will also have time to relax and explore on your own.

2024 TRIPS AND DESTINATIONS

- Naples and Ischia
1st experience: 3 June - 14 June 2024
2nd experience: 16 - 27 September 2024

In Naples, you can explore the bustling city streets, taste authentic Neapolitan cuisine and meet artisans in their workshops. You’ll also visit iconic monuments and districts like the rione Luzzatti which was one of the locations of My Brilliant Friend, the tv-series based on the books of Elena Ferrante.
In Ischia, you will enjoy the rolling hills, picturesque beaches, and the vibrant local culture. From the crystal-clear waters of the Mediterranean Sea to the thermal springs of Ischia, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. You’ll be able to explore the island’s ancient ruins, including the Castello Aragonese, and take part in unique cultural experiences such as visiting the first distillery on the island and learning the secrets of making an authentic limoncello.

- Sicily - Siracusa and Ragusa
1st experience: 25May - 6 June 2024
2nd experience: 16 Sept - 28 Sept 2024

Start your Italian language journey in the province of Ragusa in a rustic casale with a swimming pool and a wood-fired oven. You will meet many locals as we take you to hidden gems like Ragusa Ibla, Modica, Scicli and Marina di Ragusa where you will be involved in a variety of activities including a painting workshop, and sensory chocolate and Sicilian herbs lessons. You will enjoy immersive language tuition in enchanting settings with historical and cultural tours.
In Siracusa, you will stay in luxurious suites in the heart of Ortigia. We'll take to to Palazzolo Acreide, Val di Noto, Solarino and others so that you can admire the uncommon beauty of these off-the-beaten-path places. Lose track of time while you immerse yourself in the Sicilian lemon groves, discover the secret of making the best EVO, explore an old mill and dip your feet in a local river after a walk in the Sicilian countryside.

- Salento and Basilicata

Your adventure will begin in the charming town of Otranto, where you’ll be greeted with a warm welcome and a refreshing cocktail in a luxurious Masseria. You will discover a selection of wonders of Puglia and its rich history and traditions.
Next, you will be taken to the region of Basilicata where a 4-star hotel in the city will be your home for 5 days. You will discover I Sassi di Matera, the ancient cave dwellings carved into the rocky terrain, wander through narrow streets and alleyways and marvel at the stunning architecture that has been preserved for centuries.
But our adventure doesn’t stop there! We will take you to the Dolomiti Lucane and Rionero in Vulture where you will admire an extinct volcano, and taste Aglianico, one of Italy’s best yet lesser-known wines.
