Tania Troyan is the creative force behind the holistic 3D Method™ and the groundbreaking curriculum at the 7-Week Italian® school.

A lifelong linguist and educator, she has transformed her passion for the Italian language into a mission, a life’s purpose—and now, with Italian You, a lasting legacy.

Sharing her deep love for the Italian language, culture, art, and history, Tania—together with her talented multilingual team—guides learners on a transformative journey. The 3D Method™ provides students with the tools, techniques, and mindset to not only achieve fluency but also forge their authentic Italian identity.

Tania’s holistic approach has been shaped by decades of language learning and teaching, combined with a multifaceted academic and professional background—including degrees in Art History, Theatre, Interpreting and Translation, Intercultural Development Cooperation, and a diploma in Italian Language and Culture.

Her own journey to achieving full proficiency in four languages has provided her with profound insight into the challenges adult learners face. Specifically designed to create an immersive learning experience, her Method addresses and brilliantly overcomes the limitations of outdated traditional language teaching.

In 2006, Tania realized her dream and made Italy her home, settling in the beautiful city of Trieste. When she’s not teaching, you’ll often find her exploring the scenic trails around Trieste on her mountain bike, Beatrice la Bici, swimming in the Adriatic Sea, rehearsing for historical dance performances, or sipping a cappuccino at one of the city’s charming historic cafés.
